I’ve always loved the Nelson platform bench / coffee table. So much so that I actually built one out of LEGO once. Well, before I started woodworking, it was a dream of mine to make one from wood – but as I got more into woodworking and designing, I became less interested in that, and more interested in making something based off of the design. A contemporary interpretation of the bench if you will. In this video, I do exactly that.
