At the end of last year, Food Network Magazine approached us about an Easter story they were doing with eggs inspired by all 50 states. They were interested in us creating one for California and my mind went immediately to Palm Springs. Not surprising, huh? We decided to make eggs inspired by our favorite mid-century doors and LOOK how they turned out!!!!! Not gonna lie, you gotta really commit to this project as it’s a lot of detail work but after we submitted it to them for print, we just had to share a tutorial in case you wanted to give it a try!
