DIY Papel Picado Banner

A few days ago I shared that I had made this gorgeous crepe and tissue flower pinata for a wedding photo shoot, which I will share the final photos once they are available. In addition to the pinata I also made a papel picado banner that was designed by my intern, Lindsay. These flower and Amor designs were so easy to cut on the Cricut Explore once we finished setting up the designs in the SVG files and today I am giving those files to you. Of course you can also cut these by hand, perhaps a few at a time, and for that I have provided a PDF printable. This banner would be perfect for a summer fiesta, party, shower or even a wedding. I cut these banners on a metallic vellum from paper-papers.com called Platinum to give the banner a sheer, light look. Once cut, you can string them together using the holes on the top of each to make this stunning banner. Enjoy! ~ Lia
