How to submit a new post on WikiDIY

Every registered user can add a new DIY project to WikiDIY. You can use a WikiDIY Chrome Extension or you can use post editor.

Go to • My projects – Add new in User navigation panel (right menu).
Select Create New Post
Enter the Title (required)
If you want to submit Youtube or Vimeo video, enter the video link to Video URL field. Video preview will be used instead of featured (title) image.
If you want to link your post with an external webpage, use the External Link field. Featured image and post title will be linked to the external webpage.
Use content field to create post body. You can submit a complete project or you can use it only as a description to your external link. You can upload images or video directly in the editor.
Select a category.
Use Tag fields to enter up to 3 tags.
You can upload featured image field. Featured image will be used as a title image. There are no dimensional restrictions, maximum file size is 2Mb.
If you are done with editing, click Publish. You can also Save your post for later editing or Cancel your post.
