When I make a recipe that turns out exactly the way I imagine, I have to force myself not to eat all of whatever it is so someone else can try it and I can hear all those mmm yum sounds.

But other times, a recipe is just so good I can’t hold back and just finish the plate off right there and then. That’s what happened with these apple chips. These are my favourite snack of the moment – you wouldn’t imagine how crunchy these are and they require absolutely no added sugar. All you need is apples and ground cinnamon.

Believe me, you’ll never want a bag of shop-bought apple chips after trying these.
