Attic Window Quilt – Free sewing patterns – Sew Magazine

This lovely quilt design is always popular because of its impressive 3D effect. The attic window block is so called because that’s exactly what it looks like – many quilters use scenery fabric for the squares to enhance this look. Instead, we’ve added appliqué motifs for that extra something special – swap the reindeer for stars or flowers for a year-round quilt. We’ve used Tilda’s Tiny Treasures range, as the sweet blues and pinks are ideal for a cot quilt. If you’d prefer a larger version for your bed or sofa, simply add more blocks!
