How to Find a Vacuum Leak – Water, Propane, Starting Fluid Methods – YouTube
In this video I demonstrate how you can use Water Propane or Starting Fluid to find small and large Vacuum leaks on your cars engine. A Vacuum leak is any air past your MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor that gets sucked into your engine due to damaged or worn vacuum lines, throttle body or intake manifold gaskets, brake booster, stuck open EGR and PCV Valve to mention a few. Depending on the size of the leak you could also experience a rough idle, high idle and a fluctuating idle.
